small business growth

The majority of small business owners in 2023 (almost 54 percent), according to studies by Guidant Financial, think that the pandemic's impact on their enterprises is still being felt. A majority of them (83.4%) do, however, think that their businesses will survive the epidemic. There is a sense of change in the air as 41.7% of respondents want to expand or refurbish their business while 39.7% want to embrace digital marketing.

I manage a tiny firm, so I have to always look for new opportunities to grow and provide our customers more. Here are some suggestions I offer to assist your small business to succeed based on what I know.

1. Refresh your strategy for digital marketing

Social media, Google, and search engine optimization (SEO) are crucial elements of every company's development plan in the post-pandemic period. SEO remains the basic minimum need for success in the internet market, despite its rising importance. It's time to use innovation in your digital marketing strategy and explore various online sales channels.

To increase sales of your whole product line, you might want to consider increasing your expenditure on Amazon and other e-commerce websites if you run an online business. You might also pick certain products for your national retail sales channel that will profit from publicity and advertising.

In response to an increase in requests from law firms, GMR Transcription modified its SEO approach in the hopes that more legal professionals would discover us on Google, Bing, etc. Think about your trends for 2022 and how you may expand your audience.

2. Increase your online visibility

Online and mobile shopping is becoming more and more popular with consumers. Consider enhancing your company's online presence to target the growing online consumer base.

Create a profile on platforms like Shopify or Etsy if you don't already have one to increase your online visibility. If you are a contractor or a provider of professional services, including your company or service on websites that list freelancers or contractors will boost your chances of receiving leads.

3. Make use of video SEO

Since the video has the highest rates of consumer engagement of any content channel, video marketing has been particularly important. You may have already seen how common videos are on TikTok, Instagram, and other social media platforms.

Your business must put a lot of effort into video SEO because it is estimated that 82 percent of all consumer traffic will be made up of videos by 2023. For the purpose of educating people about the benefits of transcription, our team is aiming to develop additional films. I suggest creating brief videos and blog posts to help your website receive more organic traffic. To improve the exposure, readability, and searchability of your videos, you may also think about including transcripts.

4. Establish alliances for strategic marketing

Brands may work together through strategic marketing alliances to attract a wider audience. Offer a promotional coupon for a free item or service from your business partner with each product purchase. This collaborative marketing approach could be effective if you concentrate your marketing efforts on the same client. You may increase the market reach and effect of your brand by working together on marketing efforts or co-branding products with a business.

5. Increase labor cost reductions

Small businesses may find a reliable and affordable source of skilled labor for their long-term growth from freelancers and contractors. A sizeable chunk of the current workforce at our organization consists of freelancers and independent contractors. We can save money on hiring and training full-time employees by using contractors while maintaining a professional staff.

6. Employ micro-influencers to broaden your audience

"Influencer marketing" helps businesses advertise their products to specialized audiences successfully and isn't necessarily expensive. It could promote the expansion of small businesses branding. Without spending a fortune on influencers, you may expand your business. Begin by recruiting a few micro-influencers who are eager to work with your business. They are cost-effective if they can increase levels of engagement and brand recognition.

7. Establish a suitable organizational culture

The pandemic has changed how many workers today see a good work-life balance and an ethical workplace culture. Many people quit their jobs as a result of their expectations at work not being realized. Since employee objectives vary widely, I suggest surveying your team to establish expectations and create retention strategies. Are they content with their obligations and benefits? Businesses grow when their employees are content. Using a mobile app, it's a good idea to add a business phone number for work to your personal cell phone.

Before using these strategies, conduct a thorough analysis of your business and sector. Since no strategy is always successful for businesses, you might not need to implement all of the aforementioned strategies. Choose the strategies that will help you achieve your goals for the future year.
